Neck & Tinnitus Relief ("the app") is developed by DBD Soft to provide general wellness exercises and educational content related to neck posture and tinnitus. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with.
The app does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, or any other directly identifying information. There is no backend server operated by DBD Soft that the app communicates with, other than the analytics service described below.
This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to DBD Soft. Uninstalling the app deletes it, subject to your device's own backup settings (e.g. Android's automatic backup, which is outside our control).
The app uses Google's Firebase Analytics to record that you accepted the in-app Medical Disclaimer, along with the disclaimer's version number and the time of acceptance. This event is tied to an anonymous, per-install identifier generated by Firebase — not to your name, email, or any other personal information — and is used solely so we can demonstrate that consent was given if ever required. Free-tier use of the app displays ads served by Google's AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK. To serve and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may collect and process data such as your advertising ID, IP address, device information, and app interaction data, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can reset or limit use of your advertising ID in your device's system settings. Subscribing to Pro removes ads and stops this data collection going forward.
Subscribing to Pro is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. DBD Soft does not receive or store your payment details — Google handles the transaction and shares only your subscription status and a purchase token with the app, used solely to confirm your entitlement. The app requests notification permission, and on some devices exact-alarm scheduling permission, solely to deliver the daily exercise reminders you configure. Neither permission transmits data anywhere.
This app is intended for use by adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, or the relevant age of digital consent in your country. If this app is used by a minor, we recommend it be done under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
